After we got back to Severe, I slept, since I was still feeling sick, while Lucy, Heather and Sally went to the market. A couple of other volunteers were around so we decided to chip in to rent a vcr and tv so that we could watch some movies (I still find if funny that I watched 8 Mile in Africa, before I got to see it in the states). Luckily, we got all that taken care of before the downpour began, but we did have to sleep inside, unfortunately. This photo is of the wonderful sewer system in Severe the morning after the rains. I was feeling all better by then and was fine for the rest of the trip.
