The Peace Corps house in Severe was kind of a one level compound setup, but there were stairs to the roof so that everyone could sleep on the roof when it was hot out. There were even poles on the roof all over the place for people to tie their mosquito nets to. The roof got a bit crowded though, so someone set up their mosquito net at the bottom of the stairs, using chairs as poles for the net.
