We got to Bamako, the capital of Mali, late at night, and went out to get a bite to eat and see our friend Greg, who we also went to college with and also happened to be in the Peace Corps in Mali. It was kind of weird catching up on college gossip in Africa. We didn't stay out late, though since we had to get up early and we spent the next day travelling on a 10 hour bus trip to Severe, a large city in Sally's region where her regional Peace Corps house was. When we woke up in the morning, I pulled out my camera to take some photos of the lizards in the Peace Corps house commisary (walled-in yard).
