Horseshoe Beach, Bermuda, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world

Since last we talked, Sam and I took a trip to Bermuda to celebrate our blissful two years of marriage, which was a beautiful, relaxing and welcome relief to the crazy weeks bookending the long weekend. The plus side of the craziness at work was not having to use vacation time for two days off, but it doesn't seem to be much consolation when you're heading home at 9:30 at night.

Across the street from Flirt. For some reason, I don't think the clothing center is still there.

On Saturday morning, after some early morning shopping at the co-op for some juicy organic cheap tomatoes, we swung by Flirt for me to use my skirtificate, Sam's wonderful birthday present for a custom skirt from Flirt. It was hard making a decision, but I can't wait to see the finished product! And once we were done, I was informed that there was a warehouse sale going on at their studio. Now, I love Flirt, but I don't love their prices, so warehouse sale = music to my ears!

So I headed over to Gowanus, while Sam headed home with our co-op bounty to avoid more shopping, and boy was it worth the trek. It was as wonderful as I could have imagined! I felt guilty so I limited myself, but having now weathered many a sample sale where I would be lucky to find one decent item, scoring 6 for under $120 is pretty sweet.

Combine a successful shopping spree with delicious pasta w. tomato and basil, a fun swim on Sunday morning, and an afternoon reading Harry Potter, and that adds up to a good weekend in my book.
