When I got home last night, this eye was peering out at me. I think at least one of our cats likes the toy we got for them. And we definitely heard some scratching sounds. There may be hope for our couch yet!

I'm in the same boat with Cleo. She FINALLY sleeps in and plays on the cat tree!
I highly recommend picking up one of the flat cardboard "double wide" scratchers that come with catnip to sprinkle on top. Both of our cats are obsessed with them. They scratch them all the time, and for reasons I cannot comprehend, seem to enjoy sleeping on them as well.

jenn, sadly our cats have lost all interest in the carboard scratchers. maddie used to love them, but then one day she just started ignoring it and since then, the only way they'll touch it (and the couple others we've tried out) is to lick the catnip off the box.
