New Architecture Hits Minneapolis

Walker Art Museum Addition

The New Minneapolis Public Library

The New Guthrie Theatre

The Guthrie Terrace
While we were in Minneaplis, we spent one day checking out all the new buildings around town. There was the Walker addition, designed by Herzog and de Meuron, the new Minneapolis Public Library main branch, designed by Cesar Pelli, and the new Guthrie Theatre (in a totally new location!) designed by Michael Graves (of Target fame). Can you tell I'm an architect's daughter?
