Mirror Mirror by Gregory Maguire

Didn't like this as much as the previous novels by Gregory Maguire that I had read. What I loved about the other ones is that they really fleshed out the characters, especially the "bad" guys, but here the bad guy is still bad, and it doesn't seem to go to the same depths with characters. Also, there was a lot more magic that you had to take for granted, so it seemed a lot closer to the original fairy tale than the other novels.
