Julie and Julia by Julie Powell

I never really followed the Julie/Julia project, but I love cooking and thought this would be a good read. It was cute and a quick read, but I thought the details of her friends love lives were a bit funny at times - how it tried to relate the Mastering the Art of French Cooking to relationships was a stretch at times. Enjoyable, but somehow out of place at times.
