I love David Sedaris! The only downside to reading this is that the people on the subway think I'm a freak from laughing out loud.

What was weird reading this was that I could have sworn I'd read a bunch of these stories before. And seeing as I don't read GQ, Esquire or The New Yorker on a regular basis, I couldn't figure out where. Then I realized that I've listened to his Live at Carnegie Hall CD and that a number of the stories are on that recording. I find it odd that I couldn't tell the difference between having read it previously and having heard it read, but then again, when I read his books I tend to hear Sedaris's voice in my head anyway, so I guess that makes sense. Hysterical read as always.
