Last Thursday, our office hosted at a reception for Melissa Scholte's artwork. The work is sponsored by LiquidSPACES (pardon the very outdated website), an organization that promotes artwork in San Francisco run by my boss, and uses our office as an exhibition space. In addition, we sponsored a fashion show at The Bubble Lounge. I was probably the only one of my coworkers (besides Jen who was showing her clothes for the first time - see the photo above to see how great they are!), so it wasn't too hard to convince our boss to move the 8 AM staff meeting to 1 PM. Its pretty cool that our boss was also seemingly ok with one of our project managers calling in sick.

The night was great. Hopefully, the next time though, the evening won't end with a coworker getting thrown out of the club for arguing with a bouncer.
