6 Days In New York Is Too Short

The hit list:

- Running in to one of my best friend's from high school's younger sister at my cousin's bar mitzvah. Last time I saw her was when she was 5 I think. She looks a bit different these days at 13.

- A few days in the Berkshires. Never sleep better than in at my parents weekend house.

- Had two great meals at The Burrito Bar, on Flatbush and Prospect Place. Mmm, tasty. Just opened a few weeks ago so go check it out.

- Caught up with friends over lunches. I could get used to working in midtown.

- Finished thank you notes! I swear I'm not that lazy - its just that we got our thank you notes from the photographer, so we had to wait for the proofs and then had to pick one pix for the cards and get them printed. And Sam and I had to be in one place to sign them all.

- Getting taken out for drinks and dinner by my boss. And watching him drag our coworker out from his sick day to join us. I was the only one in the office the next day before noon.

- And best of all, spending some QT with my boy. In our apartment. With our cats. I miss home. It was too short. When my boss gets back from NY, I hope to work out another week from NY in a few weeks.
