The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
What better place to see The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy than in Silicon Valley on opening day? The crowd was great, making it a great movie watching experience. Even the previews were great, especially the one for Chicken Little, which was a parody on the original Hitchhiker's trailer.
As for the movie itself, I thought it was a lot of fun. Martin Freeman (aka Tim from The Office) is the perfect Arthur Dent. And I hadn't read the book in years, so I didn't notice the inconsistencies. It was funny where it was supposed to be, and the sets were good. A few spots where the writing wasn't quite as slick as you'd like, but definately worth watching.
