I think this is the first piece of mail we've gotten mailed to the two of us (yes, Richard is Sam's legal name - long story, don't ask). What's especially weird about it is why anyone who has Sam's legal name would have it associated with me and my address. I think the only things we've filled out together are wedding things like registry info, which is all under Sam Thompson. Very odd.

Update: I think I figured it out - I just got something addressed to Sam and I again, from WNYC. Last year when I gave some money to WNYC, I included Sam on there (w. his real name) as well. When I moved, the USPS gave WNYC my updated address, even though I never asked them to. Therefore, WNYC must be giving out their list of members to organizations like The Fresh Air Fund. While I'm all for The Fresh Air Fund, I'm totally against WNYC giving out the list of members. Grrr - I never would have expected this from public radio!
